Our Babysitter Training Course is designed to prepare young individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to safely care for infants and children.
Taught by experienced first responders and emergency medical professionals, this course provides real-world safety education, hands-on practice, and practical guidance to help babysitters become responsible, prepared, and professional caregivers.
Participants leave confident in their ability to handle common childcare situations and emergency scenarios.
Each training session includes interactive instruction, guided practice, and scenario-based learning covering:
Age-appropriate care for infants and children
Feeding basics and diapering guidance
Safe play and supervision techniques
Bedtime routines and behavior management
Professionalism and communication with parents
Recognizing and responding to emergencies
Basic first aid for common injuries
Choking relief for infants and children
CPR and AED awareness
Creating a safe babysitting environment
Duration: 1–2 hours (depending on class size)
Instruction Style: Lecture, live demonstration, hands-on practice, and real-life scenarios
Certification: American Red Cross Babysitter Training Certification or equivalent nationally recognized certification upon successful completion
Mobile / On-Site: Minimum of 5 students
